I love halloween and trick or treat. Manchester did theirs on Sunday from 1-4. We had tons of trick or treaters from 1-3. We had so much fun, despite the gale force winds that blew a million leaves into our yard! Nana, Grammy and Grampy Wilay, Amy, Matt & Olivia all joined us. Tonight we are going to Grandi & Grumpie's house to hand out candy in Hooksett. David Loved it last year and I am sure he will love it more this year. On Sunday everytime he saw the kids he kept say "more, more, more"
The View Down Our Street
Little David in his Pumpkin Costume
Trick or Treat! This Little Girl had the same pumpkin costume
and come to find out she was born the day after Lil D (Jan 13th 2005) at the same hospital. They looked so cute together
We were excited to go to GG's house today. She went on vacation for a few weeks so we haven't seen her. It was great to see her and get a big warm hug. We had alot of fun. Playing, laughing, talking and catching up. Lil D was being a ham as usual. Gram was so amazed at all the changes in Lil D in just a short time. They always have so much fun together.
So it is 12:25 am Thursday Morning. I have a second wind, well not really. I am just not too tired but also not awake enough to mop my floor or run a marathon (ha ha that was funny huh, me running anywhere!). Back before lil D if I was awake this late, I was drinking coffee and scrapbooking. Boy, I'm itching to do some scrappin. Everything is still packed up from when I went to Mystic in September. I gotta order some pictures and maybe make a list of what I want to scrapbook. I also want to go thru all my scrapbooks and organize all the pages in time sequence. I also have to sort thru my stash again to clear out the old. Oh and throw away old magazines. Lots to do, not much time.
Tonight I watched National Geographic shows about Waco TX and then another about Bears. Now something is on about Tsumanis. I can only imagine the strange dreams I will probably have tonight. Oh I also watched The Biggest Loser while I ate Ben & Jerry's ice cream. DVR'd Lost and the Nine to watch this weekend.
I haven't taken too many pictures lately but here is one from a few weeks ago. I just love how these pictures came out. My little daredevil decided it was time to climb down the stairs all by himself without holding onto anything. So then it became an obstacle course, up one side of the stairs (on the other side of the deck) and back down the other stairs. It made me nervous but he was doing great!
Well the usual... Cooking & Cleaning & Laundry & Errands Playing with D and watching him discover new things Chatting on the phone with my best friend The excuses.... I am still using a kitchen chair at my computer desk and it is very uncomfortable! I don't have patience to deal with uploading pictures I surf the internet for hours on end Too busy reading up on other people's blogs
What is really taking up my time... (kind of ironic because prior to this fall, I usually don't watch too many shows but this season the shows are reallly good. I would love to say that I am scrapbooking or sewing but nope just watching "my shows") Monday: How I met your mother, Heroes, Studio 60 (I don't really like it, I think I am going to dump this one) Tuesday: Nip/Tuck - LOVE this show! I can't get enough, Miami Ink Wednesday: Jericho, Lost, Biggest Loser, Project Runway - LOVE Wed Night! Thursday: Smallville, My name is earl, Grey's Anatomy (Another FAV!) Friday: Watching the shows I missed on DVR Saturday: same as above Sunday: Extreme Home Makeover & Desperate Housewives. and of course Deal or No Deal when I can.
10 Years Ago I would never think that I would be a homebody, but here I am...I homebody! Funny how things change!
At this time, 4 years ago today, we were dancing at our Wedding Reception and then getting ready to go on a wonderful 14 day honeymoon! Hard to believe! Alot has happened in 4 years. I think what is also hard to believe is that we have been in our Home for 5 Years. This past year, with Lil D, though has gone by the fastest! We are very blessed to have all that we have and to have found each other. Sometimes I question why things happen, but everything happens for a reason. There was a reason my life took me on a unexpected path. It led me to David and now we have a son. It is amazing how much my life has changed in the past 7 years.
Tonight we went out car shopping and then we all went out to dinner including my dad & Diane who are also celebrating their wedding anniversary this weekend (so is David's Mom & Doug). It was a nice night out.
Darn blogger won't let me load too many photos at once. I tried doing photobucket and had problems and then tried Hello Bloggerbot and that was way too complex. So I did it the slow way and here are more pictures. Sorry about the vent, onto more important things:
These first ones are from a little trip D and I took out to Litchfield. Not only did the farm have tractors, mums, pumpkins but they had some farm animals too. It was so much fun and the weather that day was so sunny and warm. We had a great time!
After we left Litchfield, we took a little drive to Londonderry to Mack's Apple Farm. They also had a fab selection of large mums and pumpkins. We also had a chance to see more goats and lots of ducks and geese. David loved sitting on the bench watching them. Then we got to use a big wagon and pick out our flowers. Well Mama picked out the flowers and D got to munch on a sampling of apples they had. It is so nice to out wiht my little boy! The last picture is of D and my mom taking care of all the flowers I bought. They do a great job watering all the flowers. Lil D loves to help out.
Here are some of our fun photos from this Autumn Season. For my birthday I got a sewing machine from my Davids. I haven't had time yet to play with it but I am hoping soon I will. There is a pinwheel quilt I started before Lil D was born that I would like to finish. What a great gift, I was really surprised!
We are really enjoying our beautiful pumpkins and mums we got at the farms in Litchfield and Londonderry. We actually still have apples left from apple picking so hopefully this weekend I will make an apple pie! And for the to do list: scrapbook these adorable pictures!
I can't believe it is October 1st today, well for the next 15 minutes. This is when some smartass always busts out and says and there is only 12 Weeks Until Christmas! This part of the year always seems to go by so fast for me. It is so hard to believe that little Holly will be 2 in November and Lil D will be 2 in January!
Today was a waste of a day. I used to enjoy lazy days but now I feel so unproductive and then I get moody about it. You know when you are getting old and you go to a wedding, have a few too many glasses of wine and can't really funtion the next day. Actually too, I did a little dancing in high heals and my knee is killing me today. I am a big whiny baby! It was raining way to hard to do anything but I did get out for a little drive at 6:30 pm for a Iced Latte at Dunkins (just a little pick me up!) I can't wait to get to sleep - tomorrow is a new day and I think the sun will be shining.
Here are a few pictures from the wedding. And Yes, the bride Jen wore 2 different dresses. She wore her mom's wedding dress for the ceremony and a new dress for the reception. Both dresses were beautiful. Everything was so pretty, especially all of the fall flowers and centerpieces. We had a great Time!
