Monday...Back to the Routine

It is 1:38am monday morning...I guess I really need to get to bed. I have gone to bed soooo late in the last week. But I decided before I do I should do a blog post.

In about 6 hours, I will be back to the mommy uniform, back to the daily shows, back to d's naptime at a normal time, back to errands and phone calls, back to cooking dinner, back to the norm. It was a fun weekend.... busy busy...Well other than the stomach virus that has plagued our house on and off since last Monday Afternoon. Lots of stuff to do and lots of people to see. Not sure if I really got done all the things I wanted to. I really wanted to scrapbook but that never happened. Hubby and I got totally hooked on a bunch of computer games and spent alot of time together. Oh and finally we both went for our eye exams and new glasses.

This time of year I am so messed up on the dates. 4 weeks from today is christmas. 6 1/2 weeks is Davids 2nd birthday. I have to plan out christmas cards, christmas portrait and birthday invitations. All meanwhile waiting for my prometrium to kick in, waiting for AF and then onto round 4 of higher dose of clomid, TI and ultrasounds. I think December is going to be a busy month!!! Did I mention how excited I am that the prometrium is finally done with. That stuff is evil. Tonight not only am I extra moody but dizzy too! I had a lovely hot flash while at Walmart...very glamourous!!!

Here are some pictures of lil D from the past few days. He is such a little clown. Lots of new words including llama, notebook, black, tissue, and no more!!! He is very clear on Yes and No these days but he is listening so well. Ok, gotta get to bed!

Is this weather messing up anyone else? It is soooo nice out. I have to keep reminding myself that it is November. I have all my windows open and I just saw a person walking their baby and they were wearing shorts. It is so weird and if I didn't think of it, I would think it was late April. I am so confused!!! I am not complaining in any way. If I can wear my capris and gauchos one more week I am happy. I still haven't packed away my open toe shoes though the tootsies are really lacking in the pedicure area! Put that on the long "to do" list...get pedicure! Okay well that is my comment of the day. I hope where ever you are, you are enjoying the beautiful day!

My Attempt at Digital Scrapbooking

So this morning I uploaded some new Creating Keepsakes Software (CK Scrapbook Designer) and gave it my best shot. Well probably not my best because my best would entail reading the instructions first or doing an online tutorial. But I was excited so I just jumped right in. I am pretty computer savvy so I figured it would be pretty easy. I liked it. I enjoyed it. No mess to clean up!!! Here are the two layouts I did. I hope to get to do some more real soon.

A Day at the Farm

The Fall Fun continues!!! My Dad & I took David to Charmingfare Farm. It was fun, even though 1/2 way thru lil D decided to walk thru a very deep puddle (and got soaked) . Of course mommy didn't have a change of clothes handy so we made due with what we had. David's favorite animals were the wolves (doggies to him) and the little goats. He even feed the little goats. It was a good time but I really look forward to going back next year when D understands more. I think he just enjoyed running around in the fresh air, while my dad and I enjoyed all the animals. My dad really enjoyed being out in the country seeing the cows and feeding the horses, it reminded him of his childhood.

A Great Day!

Yesterday was November 1st - Happy November! What a beautiful day. It felt like spring! Much different than the rainy day today.

It was such a nice day to be out and spending a day with Karen & Holly made it even better. We had alot of fun and it was just nice to spend quality time together. David and Holly are such great pals. I love listening to them talk to each other. (Holly's vocabulary is unbelievable and her little voice is so sweet) It was so funny to listen to them back and forth and making each other giggle! Each visit we notice more and more how their friendship is growing. They look forward to seeing each other now. And of course Karen and I always look forward to seeing each other.
